Whatever little knowledge most people have about Deities is through stories read or heard during their childhood. Due to little knowledge, their belief in God is very unsteady. Greater knowledge about Deities helps in augmenting belief. Determined efforts in that direction over a period of time turns belief into faith, and as a result there is qualitative improvement in worship as well as in spiritual practice. Hence, emphasis has been laid on giving useful information about Shri Ganapati in this Booklet, which is not available elsewhere.
